oMG what a nightmare you can't put your faith in anyone theese days. Everything's just all about $$$$. What is this world coming to? Do you remember the days when a handshake and a promise meant something? I barely can!!! I think that's why I've become such a control freak. You just can't trust anyone to do anything. MY DS260 is available YAY ! ! ! ! I just want to go home now and call my husband to complete it and submit. I CAN'T CONCENTRATE AT WORK TODAY !!!!

NVC said I do NOT need my divorce decrees in the IV package. I forwarded the message to the lawyers office since they are too busy to answer my call. Why is it that I know more than they do and it is their profession????? We should all work for immigration lawyers.

Fyi:

Tax transcripts can be obtained in person at any irs office. You will have them when you walk out.

Haha, hubby just off the phone. Although I had a draft 260 filled in , when doing the real one online there's lots of drop down menus for some questions. So have to sit by the phone to be on call until he gets it done. Should have done it myself really but my internet connection is playing up today. I've told him to make sure he dots the i's and crosses the t's. Don't want any silly mistakes. Lol

Got case complete on Friday, april 4th, waiting for interview date to be given by embassy. Debating on whether I should call them and ask for a timeframe or not... opinions?

Do call them, see if they're still scheduling interviews for your embassy/consulate. I had an April 3 case complete and apparently just missed the cutoff date for May interviews

1) i-864 signed and dated with blue ink

2) Tax transcripts for 2013 (order online here: http://www.irs.gov/I...Get-Transcript)

3) Letter stating why sponsor did not file for taxes in 2011,2012

4) Employment letter

5) 6 months of paystubs (November 2013-Present)

Forms and Documents needed for Joint-Sponsor (Tracy):

1) i-864 signed and dated with blue ink

2) Tax transcripts for 2011,2012,2013 (order online here: http://www.irs.gov/I.../Get-Transcript

3) Mark's signed i-864a or his W2 and form 1099 to show income

4) Proof of US Citizenship (Birth Certificate, original document photocopy)

5) Employment letter and 6 months of paystubs (not required but strongly recommended as you may get a request for this later on and cause delays in approving the case)

Haha, aw! My husband and I were lucky, we were together when the DS-260 became available. I pulled up a chair and sat beside him while he went through it, but it was really just moral support. I hope your case complete comes quickly since they switched things up on you last minute!

I already have an extension on file for 2013 taxes.

I will include 2010, 2011 and 2012 tax transcripts and an employment verification letter satating my annual salary.

Is this going to be a problem? should I go and file my 2013 taxes and then amend once my wife gets here and gets a SSN (I file as head of household anyway)?

Any takers on this?

I am in the exactly same situation I remember writing my permanent address to be in Pakistan but they still gave me a case number which starts from RID which means Saudi Arabian Embassy and I am not even ad citizen over there I was just there for a visit! Well i called them we have paid both the fee and have submitted AOS that's all fine just dont submit the civil documents as yet because one rep told me that u shud wait before submitting civil documentscor else if the case gets completed before the email gets replied to we might have a longer delay. Keep me ipdated on your situation also plz!

How long you been waiting for new case number? I see that some VJ waited 40 days to get case#. This is ridiculous It shouldn't take so long, especially if they made a mistake. I will let you know.

If you have an extension that'll last you through to the end of the process I think you'll be ok, unless you're perilously close to the income guidelines. I'd include 2014 pay stubs to be safe, and maybe the last one from 2013 to show your full year income.
