There was a Chick-Fil-A right down the street from where we were staying in Florida. I wanted to try it before we left, but didn't get there. We don't have any up here that I am aware of. We just started getting Popeye's around here so that gives us something other than KFC.

I want to talk about my love of Krystal Chiks. Because honestly, those things are amazing when it's 4am and you're stuck in Mississippi.

Those little bites of Manna are good anytime.

I don't kno if the have Krystals outside the south.

Always lots of drunks in the Krystal and Waffle house round here late on Sat night

This guy agrees with you!

That is meant to degrade and demean a wide demographic of pick up trucks

There is a connection between the popularity of this type of 'food' and obesity (and the requirement to get gastric bypass surgery!) I'll let you all figure out what it might be.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

One time in Ecuador, we went to the KFC in the food court of the big mall in Cuenca (Ecu's third-largest city). They were out of chicken. We had to wait for at least half an hour till they scared some up (wrung their necks, plucked them, etc.).

A hallmark of that KFC -- and most restaurants in Ecu -- is that they hand you just one teeny, tiny napkin for whatever you're eating, no matter how sloppy. You have to ask, often unsuccessfully, for more. This (and the absence of toilet paper in public restrooms) caused me to continuously carry a supply of U.S. fast-food napkins with me, which in this KFC instance was greatly appreciated by Mrs. T-B.'s #5 sister, who had the biggest order.

Edit: In similar fashion, the Taco Bell in the food court of the big mall in Guayaquil (Ecu's largest city) was out of tacos, perhaps during that same trip of ours.
