Hey Everyone!

I hope all is well :)

I have been wondering these past few days about the interview stages of the visa.

If everything goes well and we reach the interview stage, It will be in the US embassy in London for me.

What sort of document will they need? and what sort of things can I take to the interview to proof it's a genuine relationship?

Cause I will have to print everything out before I leave Texas and head back home to the UK, So I can take this opportunity to print everything I need.

I have the receipt of our rings if that can help? I have photos of us and his family, I have receipts of everything, I have hotels reservations we made.

Can I ask someone who has had the interview of what proof they showed?

Thank you in Advance :)

Welcome to the UK forum :)

Firstly, read this guide in full. It should answer most of your questions and give you an understanding of the process from start to finish: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/

Secondly, they didn't want to see ANY proof of relationship at my interview. Just the forms such as I-134 and the supporting evidence for that, police certificate, birth certificate etc. I took some proof of relationship just in case but it wasn't needed. That was all included in the initial petition so they already have a few bits and pieces to go by if they need to.

I made a carbon-copy of my initial application (massive folder) and sent it with The Husband for his interview. Don't think they looked at it, but it definitely does not hurt to be prepared. Make sure you bring everything they ask for, like rhirhi said.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Read the reviews for the London Embassy. They don't require any evidence, they will ask you some history about your relationship, how you met, when you decided to get married etc but they don't ask for any photos or anything 'proving' the relationship. They only wanted to see the stuff they tell you to bring in the packet 3 checklist an they take your picture, your fingerprints and make you sign everything in front of them.
