I know a couple whose case went AP and approved after 5 weeks. Each cases are different. I also read about an AP case which is going on more than a year (http://allafrica.com/stories/201402230077.html).

Liz we went under AP at NVC for a 45 days until they foward the case to Havana , sometimes they do the AP before the interview schedulle and sometimes after , every one is diferent, if you went to the interview and all your answers matched you should be ok , I know a few denied cases becauses people answer diferent things , small details even favorites colors .

Hi did they ever tell you the reason for your AP?

We answered all our questions good and all our information was complete. Our phone record speaks for it self over $3000 in phone calls and i even had copies of western union receipts that show that i would send him money although that money he would put aside for me when i went there for my expenses. I just dont get it when i see hardly any from cuba here in AP

They didn't said why, I was calling NVC every single day, depends on the officer some are nice other " no coments" their only answer was they have to make sure that everything is correct, they review a few cases all time and if they find any mistake they will send you notificacion . It just a matter of time i guess.
