In your last thread you stated he didn;t want you to come for other reasons...and it wasn't money or tickets...your story has changed. Here is the quote from your last thread in January...

Posted 20 January 2014 - 08:48 AM

He changed his mind because when we had a huge fight i wrote a letter without consulting him to his sister and asked for help if she could help me advise my husband not to swear and spank our toddler child. He got mad because i was not suppose to share our marital issues to his family because we have to settle it on our own. I have spoken to him and apologized about it the other day. He told me he couldnt trust me anymore and couldnt bring me to the us because of what happened. Eversince we got married he has been visiting us 3 to 4x a Year.

Very interesting... Hmmmmm. Thx for posting this. Shed's a whole new light on things to say the least.

Sorry, gotta be honest, something isn't adding up with this whole story (er, rather, stories) Honestly, if your husband is not wanting you to come here, I don't care what the reason is, why in the world would you come or try and figure out a way to come on your own in the manner that you are?! I would be absolutely devastated that he didn't want me to come and by far the very last thing on my mind would be who else I could move in with in his country once visa is in my hand. It'd be one thing if you said that you were wanting to still tell him you were coming and would be at his front door to figure things out, but that is by far NOT what you are saying. In fact, it's the opposite. The whole purpose of getting the visa is to BE TOGETHER, not taking your own money and moving in with friends/family that you conveniently have already (seemingly) plotted with. Wrong. Wrong on soooooooo many levels and devious. Apparently he has a very valid point when he states, according to your previous post, that "he couldn't trust you anymore."

I am usually a very positive person and poster when it comes to this entire process. But this thread seems to shed light on the ugly underbelly of immigration and those with ulterior motives. Sad. I hope things work out for you both. By the sounds of it he would rather move to your home. Why not try that route first? Have you told him you'd like him to move to you for a while instead to repair your relationship first? Seriously.... you seem way too focused on "Getting to the US" and not about your relationship. Unless I'm missing something here.... then please, let me know.

Wishing you the best of luck with everything and hoping that maybe since we are not seeing the whole picture, nor know all the facts, that things aren't really what they seem at the moment by reading your posts.... hoping.

Finally I just received my IR visa last saturday! I am really excited for me and our toddler to go to US and live with my USC Husband. We should leave by july because visa will expire on july13 2014 but because me and my husband have so many marital issues and we've been arguing alot he decided not to buy us ticket to go to US because he reasons that he has no money but i dont believe him cos if he really wants to take us to his country he would do everything to make it happen. My question is..if already have money to pay for the ticket can i and our toddler son

Still go to US even if my husband doesnt want? I already have visa and our son have his US passport.?

technically, and legally, yes.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Of course not she wont let her visa to be expired, if you in her position do you think you would do that? Whatever challenges maybe comes to her life at this time she will find a way And for sure she would overcome with it just think positive in that way it can make your self comfty. If you have friend were close to you try to ask for assistance you might not know they can help in regards to your problem about money. Find a way girl you can do it, don't let him be make a decision for you, right now is your turn take the lead, always remember once you in the US just do what u have to do

if you not entitled being a wife so

You will be entitled being a PR in the US.

IMHO, buy a round trip ticket and see what is going on. That way you can always head back to the Philippines and get an annulment if your husband isn't the person who he has lead you to believe he is.

In my own modest opinion: why not to go to the USA, get your green card, meet the in-laws, and then go back to PI to live with all family if your husband wants to. The OP's family proved to have real grounds of relationship as they successfully finished this long visa journey. Why give up the opportunity to go back to the States some time later if your husband will suddenly change his mind again? Would he do this all process again and pay money for the new petition (he says he has no money)? Sorry, I am thinking out loud. Unless there is something else behind.

Shame about the IR1, I was hoping for another VAWA thread.

Perhaps she wants to move to the US.

Perhaps her Parents/Siblings want to move to the US.

This may be their only opportunity.

We will never know the truth... I remember one other thread not long ago, the story is very similar (?), except the OP stated there that her USC husband is accusing her of cheating or something and didn't want to see her and their child anymore. She said her interview is going to be soon.

We never do, I have noticed assumptions being made based on what would be culturally appropriate for them not appreciating others see things differently.

Am i allowed to go back to P.I anytime if we buy roundtrip ticket?

You yes, the child may be another issue.

I am also concerned with our toddler. Another reason why i want to go to US is to look for better therapy centers for our son's autism. Is it true that there are free therapy centers in the US?

Oh snap how will OP go back without daddy's okay. Once you are here you may not be able to take your child out the US. Something to consider.
