Do I need to "correct" my electronic I-94?

Unlike Chinese given names in Mainland China (no delimiters) and in Taiwan (delimited with a hyphen), in Hong Kong and Macau syllables are divided by spaces, but socially they are considered part of a single name.

These spaces won't be that much of an issue in the hand-written I-94's, as I will fill all my names on it and the stub will of course display it in the way I like to. However, the automation of I-94 causes a problem--while I will be given a mostly correct electronic I-94 record if I type in my full name, among others, the given name on the record was truncated to the first space.

I have made a phone call to CBT about this and asked whether I need to get my record corrected in a deferred inspection facility, the person on my phone told me as long as I can pull up my record with the full name, that should not be an issue. My name on USCIS' records are not truncated, if the EAD issued a month and a half ago using my full name is any indication.

However, state DMVs is not as forgiving--they will only use this truncated name (that I see as unacceptable for identification) on my driver's licence as "this is the name on the I-94."

Should I go to one of CBT's offices to correct the I-94, in that case?

I won't ask in VJ if my issue has been answered in their FAQ.

My question is more of "should I bother"? CBP told me there is no error, but to some other people there might be confusion.
