My dear friend, it has been a delight to witness your happiness, laughter, fun and just simple 'togetherness.'

You have mutual respect for one another and that definitely helps. I love you both dearly. It has been a very long and exhausting

journey for you both and now you are enjoying the reward of your endurance.

Happy 3rd Anniversary :goofy::energy: and lots of hugs.

We often only hear one side of the story when a marriage fails, so it is refreshing to hear from those who as happy as you both are

and come back to share this with us.

Thanks my friend. It has been a long road we traveled and its outcome has been worth the hardships we endured. Thanks for being a great support, friend and sister through it all. We love you too!

Thank you everyone for your good wishes. Please continue to support one another and share your stories to inspire and give hope to those who still travel or just started with their VJ. It helps to know what is at the end of the rainbow.....

I have a support group which I started on FB and I continue to help women in my own way. We can make a difference!

Thank you for your testimony. Marriages and relationships are difficult. Long distance ones are even harder. Quite frankly, I don't appreciate when others tell me "I could never do it! I could never have a long distance relationship. I don't know how you do it!" I doubt that for any one of us going through this, it has been 'easy'. No one's relationship is perfect and relationships do require work. I have been apart from my husband for almost 3 years. We visit each other when possible but the distance has been quite a strain on us. Just as we're starting to repair things, it's time for one of us to go. Like you, we are both determined to make this work. The road isn't easy but we are both up to the challenge.

Many blessings to you and to everyone going through this challenge. May we all emerge victorious! (L)

It is important to think of this journey as a way to study one's relationship and its strengths or weaknesses which we all know will emerge with time. It is very crucial to keep an open mind and be in tune with the ongoing challenges one must face and realize that it is a way to test the endurance and commitment of both parties to each other.

Those who ignore the signs from the beginning and expect the relationship to improve or repair itself once together instead of ironing out the differences or challenges presented before are in denial and need to think with their minds for a change instead of their hearts first.

Looking back, we both survived because we are compatible and respected each other's differences with strengths and all without issues. Communication was and continues to be the main bond we posses. When all the pieces come together as it should fit....time is all you need to overcome and get to your objective.

Thank you for your response. It is for the VJ members of your kind we posted our testimony for. We went through hell and back to be together and here we are happy and content even though the odds were against us. We continue to work on our relationship and ourselves to improve and better ourselves as a couple and individuals.

Good luck with your journey and I will be keeping an eye for your success at the end of the rainbow. With the right attitude you will merge victorious!

Thank you Ebunoluwa. If the thousand VJ members who actually read our post were to take anything from our experience? I hope it is that a positive outcome is possible with the right attitude, endurance and commitment on both ends.
