recurring UTI

Hi everyone. Im a newbie here. Filed k1 and is ready to have a medical appointment anytime.however i have a concern. I have an untreated UTI for almost 2 yrs now. Tried every antibiotic but its still there. Did papsmear to check if somethings wrong in my reproductive sytem but it turned out negative. I just found out that this UTI is caused by my kidney stones. Meaning to say, my UTI will still be there unless my kidney stones(small) will be gone. My question is, will that be a big deal during my medical exam in st lukes? Will they require me to clear my UTI first bfore i can pass the medical exam? Im so worried coz i know that takes time. Thank you for your inputs.

UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) is one on the list Infection they worry about because alot of people are battling with this infection. However, if they they find out it can't stop them from approving at all. Just focus on the positive side at this point and it shall be well with you. Good luck

Where did you read that?

I thought they were worried about major illnesses where an individual will eventually burden the state. Not a UTI.

UTI is not one of the major illnesses, it's just a common Bacteria infection that can resolved in few days eventhoug you said that yours is a recurrent but i will tell you one more time to ignore your negative thinking.

No need to worry. CDC here in the US is mostly concerned with infectious or communicable diseases. Granted UTI is bacterial but it isn't communicable. I suggest you check with your healthcare provider on determining whether your kidney stones are acid or alkaline in nature. After that talk with your healthcare provider on putting you on either an alkaline ash or acid ash diet to help get rid of the stones. As what you have stated, it is the stones that are causing the recurrent UTI so you have to target that. As far as I know US embassy won't deny you for UTI and kidney stones and not ask you to go into any treatments that will result to delay in the process.

Its actually uric stones. So its easier to "wash out" if i have ample time . Thank you all so much for your advises. I felt relieved now!
