K1 NOA2 approved - wrong mothers maiden name on G325-a form

Hi all,

Looking for some help and advice please.

I posted it on the main forum, but didn't get any feedback, so hopefully someone can answer here.

We used a lawyer to go through the process, to make it easier...

We got approved la few weeks back, and the lawyers office just sent us back the complete scanned packet, however my mothers maiden name is spelled wrong on the g325-a form, spelled 'Boughhtrie' not 'Coughtrie'. We checked it at the time, I remember telling her it was wrong and she told me in an email she would change it...

Will this hold us up at the NVC/Interview stage when they look at my birth certificate in London?

Any advice is welcome as I'm starting to panic a small amount...

I'm not entirely sure what response you would receive. I would think at most, at the very most, you would receive an RFE but I would doubt it. Someone else can probably give you better advice, but I would probably try and call the NVC to see if you can update the name over the phone. It's only a small mistake, it's not like you're missing "evidence".
