21-07-2014 - NVC case number assigned

XX-XX-2014 - Sent I-864(AOS) Package

XX-XX-2014 - IV bill invoiced and paid

XX-XX-2014 - DS-260 completed online
XX-XX-2014 - IV packets sent
XX-XX-2014 - Case completed
XX-XX-2014 - Interview scheduled

90 percent of the time 129F gets terminated and I130 is used.

both files will go to NVC but then they will close 129F and assign number for I130

Timeline

My 129F for K3 was approved and sent to NVC at the same time as approved I130. All communication I received from NVC was about I130 process which is now in Case Complete status. There was no communication from NVC about I129F. When I called NVC a few weeks ago, I was told I129F was administratively closed by NVC. But I still wonder why they did not send any communication about administrative closing of I129F.
