Me and my daughter moved from Australia a year ago, I am a US citizen naturalized when I was 10 because my mom was a US citizen by birth and we lived in US for a period of time after that I moved to Australia and married an Australian guy we got divorced and a year ago I decided to bring my daughter to the US, we applied for her green card and she got it 3 months ago, we live in Aventura, California, and my question is because I am a US Citizien and she is a minor permanent resident is she automatically a US citizen? How can I get her a passport or a Naturalization certificate?? will she have to take the oath? thank you!

Your child is a citizen, If you, as a US citizen, have been physically present in the US at least five years, at least two of which were after you were 14, but prior to your child's birth.

there is great info on this website http://americansabroad.org/issues/citizenship/citizenship-requirements-faqs/
