I was signing up to schedule the interview for my fiancee and had a question..... Does the $240.00 visa fee include her child as well. For some reason my fiancee thought that she has to pay visa fee for both her and her child? Any help would be appreciated.... Thanks

Yes, you have to pay the fee for both if they are coming together. My fiancé is bringing his daughter and I can say with 100% certainty that the $240 is for EACH application/each person traveling to the US :-). Congrats on being so close to the interview!! Yay!! Best wishes moving forward for u all!

You're fiance is right, Visa fee is for each applicant.

I just posted my first inquiry this AM.

I'm helping someone with their visa. I realize there is a fee to be paid for the K-I and the K-2 listed on the I-129F.

They printed the receipts and went to the bank. The K-1 receipt for $240 was accepted, but they would not accept the $240 fee receipt for the K-2.

They said his was only $190 and to go get that receipt.

We checked for the type of visa that uses that receipt and NONE of them are K visas.

I have tried to call everywhere without success.

So which MRV$ does a K-2 use ???

2/14/2015 Sent I-129f package to TX lockbox. Happy Valentine's Day!

2/26/2015 NOA1 received, dated 2/19/2015

3/24/15 NOA2 received, dated 3/19/15

early April(approximate): at NVC ..delay?

4/08/15 Case created. Got case #,

5/16/15 NVC status: 'In Transit'

5/18/15 visa status: 'Ready' for interview

7/3/15 setup medical and visa interview appointments for

7/22/15 and 7/27/15 via Kyiv's 'call center'

7/27/15 visas approved!! ...but pending medical tests for 6 year-old

9/21/15 visa package received, and medical resolved!

It is for Ukraine. Visa and medical fees are different in different countries.

I-129F NOA2 : 2015-06-09

Sent to NVC: 2015-06-17

New case number assigned : 2015-06-29

NVC Left : 2015-07-07

Consulate Received : 2015-07-10

Medical: 2015-07-14

Interview Date : 2015-07-20 Approved!!!

Visa in hand: 2015-07-23

Entry to the USA (Orlando, FL): 2015-08-25

Marriage: 2015-09-25

AOS sent: 2015-10-20

NOA1: 2015-10-31

Fingerprints: 2015-11-30

RFE: 2015-12-15

Green card in hands: 2016-03-04

It is $265 for all consulates. The $265 is the visa processing fee, and is separate from any medical fees. It has been $265 since Sept. 12, 2014.
