Totally get it. We rec'd our NOA2 in 54 days (even with RFE) and were SUPER excited! However, the NVC stage took 38 days from CSC until our case reached the embassy, then another 30 days for Packet 3 to be received, etc. etc. We JUST received our approval, 70 days after our interview.... Days from filing to today = 246 days. And we haven't rec'd the visas yet. Why am I writing this? Because you need to focus on the end result and seriously not stress so much with the process, especially now. As has been said time and time again, this is not a journey for the faint of heart. If you think this wait is bad, I pray pray PRAY you are not in Administrative Review. By far the absolute WORST. :crying:

This is a trying journey and each one of us here can all relate to the struggle of not being with our loved ones, etc as we are experiencing it as well. This tears at your heart, feels like the never-ending journey from hell and back, makes you want to stay in bed all day at times and sleep it all away so you're one day closer, etc. Then, with the flip of a switch you're on cloud-9 when you hear good news. Roller coaster ride for sure and I totally get it! I'm going through it as well. Just don't let the wait NOW overburden you so much. Shift your focus to the result in the FUTURE. I'm not saying "ignore it", I'm saying be an advocate for yourself and your fiance and keep on top of the process. BUT! Know it is a delicate dance and you need to take it one day at a time. Breath. The day will come, absolutely, and like a previous poster stated you will look back at this and be beyond grateful it is over but also appreciate your strength pulling you both through it.

You Will Get There... use this as a tool to strengthen your relationship, grow your patience, and fall in love even more. :) (Didn't think that was possible as we were so deeply in love already staring this process. But we sure did fall deeper and continue to every single day! Never knew love this deep before ...absolutely amazing) Sending you many many hugs my dear. As the saying goes, "One. Day. Closer" Praying you hear something soon as well...

WHY TSC IS SOOOOOO SLOW???????

Whyyyyyy???

I know this is very difficult. *hugs* Find peace in that you're a K-1 filer and your process will go faster than us IR-1 / CR-1 filers.

You filed 3 months ago. Try to look at the timelines and see how long it took K-1 filers from your country.

We're here to help you and support you through tough times!

I understand all people who wait so much :( it's been only 2 months for me though, but it's just my character that I am being too emotional, and people around me are so annoying which makes my daily life more depressing that it should be... We all want to be with our loved ones, we all want to start our lives together, and we all have to wait on people for whom we're nothing more than names on a paper.

Patience is the name of the game here. Learn it.

I've been doing long distance romance for 5 and a half YEARS.
So another few months, (hard as it is, now we are finally married and are sick to death of Skype, etc LOL), is really not long at all. And I've SO much to do to get ready to move to another country. Even on the days where I get frustrated with the timeline being a moving target, I realize I can't control it, so no point in wasting energy stressing over it, and I try to channel my energy to getting ready for my move. Plus I work full time in a demanding job, and am helping my son through University. LOTS to occupy myself!

All this being said, it really does look like all the service centres are improving, so here's hoping!

Namaste.

Check the "Immigration Timelines" section and click on "K1 Visa Timelines" then filter for Greece. I think you will find that you are not the only person from Greece.

The waiting part definitely sucks. I also sent my papers in late December and have an NOA1 date 1/2/14. I am prepared to wait the entire 5 months - but it is a struggle to be content in waiting when we are seeing CSC K1 filers being approved so quickly. Pretty much 100% of January K1 filers and some February K1 filers already approved at CSC. It's hard not to compare, ya know??

Hopefully we will see some more TSC activity soon.

Your words are very encouraging. My fiance and I have been waiting for almost four months now. The expected processing time is 5 months for approval. It is a struggle to be patient but yes, it will all be worth it in the end :)

Totally get it. We rec'd our NOA2 in 54 days (even with RFE) and were SUPER excited!

I don't get it. Before I petitioned I already knew it would be over a year before my wife would be in the US and yet I see people getting all worked up after a few weeks. You do realize you'll have another 2-4 months after you receive the NOA-2 before your fiancee is in the US. Relax.

A lot of people don't set realistic expectations. They also see flukes of some people getting approved quickly in a month or two and think it's going to happen to them next and then get all worked up about it, trying to treat that like it's the norm instead of the exception.

Listen "smart".

When I and my fiance asked the immigration officer how long this process will take he told us 3 months to get the noa2 and 5 in total! When uplan ur life and ur next steps for the next 5 months and then u find out that u must wait 12 in a total then YES U GET STRESS!!! If u dont like this threat u can just not read it and even comment cause are super annoying!

The purpose of this forum is to get info and encouragement from each other!! And me personally i found amazing persons here that are my new friends!!
