Darnell, missing an important part you say? Is there anything to miss after seeing ''ISSUED'' on the website, processes almost completed. If anything was done mistakenly, I could have been called or emailed and that wouldn't have made the visa to be issued, something is just wrong at the office there, 20days after issue, still no passport! Will find all means to reach them on phone from Tuesday. Will let the petitioner call the International line given too... Thanks!

Yes, as I said, punching through the AVR, to get a Human,

is a bit tricky.

But still, you have to do it. You gave up too early. Bad form, IMO, as all that does is waste your time.

There are many options on the AVR, the one I used with much success is 'schedule an interview'.

Then when a human picks up the phone, tell them of the problem, ask them to look it all up in their computer system, and let them know there is something stuck on their side, or the consulate still has the visa packet,

and

you want confirmation, another lookup with possible supervisor intervention,

to

determine the exact location of the casefile and/or visa packet.

They will look up stuff in their computer system, and/or get a supervisor to find the casefile/visa packet.

It's really up to you, the success or failure of getting a human at ustraveldocs help desk. I like the one in Guangzhou, as I called them my sunday night when they were open, and I always got to a human within 3 minutes. Alternatively, the overseas # is open when your USCitizen Petitioner is awake, so HE could call as well.

I suggest, strongly, since 'things' are interfering with your plans, that you try and keep trying until you get a human. Once you get a human, keep insisting on an answer, telling them that their online casefile status is wrong.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
