Hi !

It might sound bizzare, and akward, but I lived in US since 1998 as with an Asylum status, and bothered to apply for Green Card only once, but it was denied though (have no idea why, see below).

I am about to be 31 years old, and in fact lived more than half of my life in US, got two college degrees(still paying student loans), and never treveled outside of US in my life.

My Mother and father are US citizen, though they got their citizenships after I turned 21.

As I mentioned, I have applied to for Greencard once, but it was denined(pulled the info from http://www.uscis.gov/):

On MONTH ,DAY 2008, we mailed you a denial decision notice for this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. The notice explains why the denial decision was made and the options that may be available to you. If you have not received this notice within 15 days of August 12, 2008, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. -- Status - Decision. Went though fingeprints and had vacination done. At this point, I have no idea why my case was denied. Best bet, my mother who handled all the documents, screwed up

What would be a good way for me to get a Green Card ?

Thanks !

When did they become a citizen and how did they attempt to apply for you ? It sounds they may have applied for AOS for you when you were over 21 and then was the adult child of a USC and needed to wait years to have a number available. Did they also send in the I130 ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
