Hello,

I am trying to finish up my I-864 form. I have several questions about this form ( it's really complicated!!!)

Here are my questions!

Part 3 since My husband is just filing for me we do not need to add and family member in part 3 right?

Part 5-1 enter the number you enter on line 7 of part 3: this will be 0 same reason as above right?

Also in Part 6. I put my income, but this is not actually earned from work. I got from my parent. What can I show evidence for this? I was thinking about showing my bank statement that is showing wire transferring from my parent, will it be enough? Also since this money is not what I earned can I not put it in as income in part 6 or not. Should I not put it in part 6 and complete part 7?

The last question is what kind of tax forms my husband has to show it for the evidence?

Thanks so much for taking your time!!

Hello,

I am trying to finish up my I-864 form. I have several questions about this form ( it's really complicated!!!)

Here are my questions!

Part 3 since My husband is just filing for me we do not need to add and family member in part 3 right? Correct

Part 5-1 enter the number you enter on line 7 of part 3: this will be 0 same reason as above right? No, would not be zero. It would be 1, for you.

Money you received from a parent is not income. Does your husband make enough to meet the requirement for your household size? If he does, then no need to list anything from you. If you still want to list your money, then it would be listed as an asset of the intending immigrant in Part 7 #6.

The last question is what kind of tax forms my husband has to show it for the evidence? Needs to list the Total Income from his last 3 years on the form and needs to provide a complete copy of his most recent return with all forms, schedules, W-2s and/or 1099s OR a free IRS transcript > http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript
