This is even though in theory im not a resident until the change of status...nobody can refuse me? With belongings. Cause its pretty clear intent lol

You can be refused entry for various reason. Bringing your stuff is not one of them. You are entering with the intent to marry.

People have gotten snagged for entering on a tourist visa and bringing all their stuff.

My wife claimed that she couldn't bring any of her things when traveling from Thailand, but I later realized it was a ploy for her to buy all new shoes, handbags and wardrobe.

Joking aside you can bring any, all, or none. The one poster saying that you have ten years is misspoken. You can always bring more possessions from Canada to USA after any length of time.

As you like it.

The K-1 is actually a non-immigrant visa. However, someone entering with a K-1 has the intent to marry and stay because that is its purpose.

You will pull over. You have to go through secondary inspection and hand over your sealed envelope when entering with a K-1. Check the POE reviews for the POE you plan on using. Those should give you a good idea of the process where you will enter. http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/poereviews.php

Did they pull you over? What happened?

Ask your fiance which route you're taking. Check on the links that Jay-kay provided. The "Port of Entry" for you is the Canada-to-US border you guys are passing through, and this is where you will surrender your sealed K-1 visa packet.

Yes, just like Jay-Kay said. I was importing my own personal car so it had to be inspected. You simply drive through the lane and you hand your envelope in. He will ask you to pull over and go inside. You have to answer a few questions. It is very easy and they were all very nice! Don't be nervous or worried, it will go smoothly.
