APPLYING FOR SIBLINGS

Okay so how long does it take for the parents to get approved? After that then how long for the kids under the parents application?

On the average 6 months to a year, I think. The immigrating parent can petition UNMARRIED children once parent receives green card. This takes about 10 years in the Philippines (yes, cuts the time to a half than if a sibling were to lodge the petition). If the child is married, the parent will not be able to petition him/her until parent becomes citizen, so that's a 5- year wait. Once a parent becomes a citizen, he/she can now file for the married child and family. Now I don't know how long this process takes in the case of the Philippines.

I'm kind of in the same boat in the sense that I plan to get my bro over here. I know it takes 20+ years for him to get a visa, so the plan was to get my Mom first and have my mom file for him once she gets her GC. But bro couldn't wait and knocked up his GF AND got married in the process. No problem, I love my nephew dearly, but bro would have to wait a long time before he boards a PAL flight to the US.

Of course these date are a look into the past, not the future.

You need to add processing times as well, which could add a few years.
