I don't know where to starts from but first of all,let me thank the almighty God for this step of the processing and i pray for him to guard me and everyone who are also in the process to go through and then to the next step.Secondly my sincere thank goes to one and only Jay Kay for his amicably guidance throughout my process and other visa journey members who were also there giving me and every body advice that are needed. Well now let me go to the point now. After going through interview on the 28th of Feb,2014 to adjust my status for resident permit, the IO told me that, they are gonna review my case and i asked her for how long and she said she cant tell.I was so much worried as i started this whole process since 2010 back in my country and i got to the states 2013.My case was put on hold back in Ghana after interview for my visa for 1 whole year without hearing anything from the embassy..Now this morning,I called USCIS and i talked to a lady who was really nice to me and after giving her every details that she asked for,she then asked me if its my first time of calling to check the status of my case and i said yes as today was my first day to call USCIS to check on my case status. After that, she told me that,my case is under review and i should hear from the USCIS by July 2014 and that if i didn't hear from USCIS by July 2014,i should call back again..

Now I just came back from Walmart for buying some foodstuffs to cook my Ghanaian dishes known as Banku with Okro stew and i decided to check my case status and see what is going on and to my surprise, this was what i got my dear friends on visa journey especially my one and only personal advicer Jay Kay.........

On March 28, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

Is this true or what? I am totally speechless and i don't know what to say.Jay Kay and others, please tell me whats this is please as i am totally having tears of joy right now.Thank very much and i am waiting.

Decision

On March 28, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

That is normal. They send out 3 notices. The next one you get should be the one that says they mailed the card out. You should be getting it soon. :)
