Hi,

My husband just read the other day that photos are no longer needed because they take them at your biometrics. I am not sure if what he read was for the EAD or the AP, but they photographed him at his biometrics for both. So maybe you won't get an RFE. Fingers crossed!

When I was getting my biometrics done, I asked if the photos taken will be used for the work permit and AOS, and when I asked why I had to send all those pictures with the application she wondered out loud why they hadn't changed that requirement yet. So, who knows. I'd get the pictures ready just in case.

Naw, our photos cost $30 (AOS, EAD, IP). I would wait and see if you get an RFE. If you do, it takes a minimal amount of time to have them done. Save your money until you know for sure - even if it's 10 bucks!

Note: this is only a response to this particluar thread - "I forgot the passport photo!!!"

If you haven't yet filed, I would send them. It is obvious not all of our CIS employees are on board with this, especially with the applications not changed yet! So better safe then sorry!
