Ive been waiting almost a year for this interview havent seen my wife since july of last year... and i dont want to go before i know a date because i dont want to be traveling then find out after i come back that i have to go back to D.R in ampther 2 weeks...

When you get case complete plays into when you get an interview date. Right now those in the queue (have case complete) are in line to hopefully get May interviews. Get case complete first than for DR its 1 to 3 month wait its a busy embassy.

Today or Monday they will start assigning May interviews. Unless you get case complete now you will be waiting for next go around end of April for maybe a June interview.

This is a terrible wait.., i think i read on here tho that D.R makes appointments the last week of each month for the following momth... for example they would make appointments tjis week for the month of april, and the last week of april for the month of May... i could be wrong but i have read that in a couple of posts... can anyone confirm this?? I was really hopeing for a interview by the end of May :-(

This is just a sharing ,suggestion and experience will be from other who had been went through of any situation coming from different aspect of process, case to case are may vary to anyone, majority saying like speed up the process or they say when and how long would this could be, a simple answer is we do not know, but the only thing we could do is to keep up our feet on the ground moving around work for it and be patient. Think positive ways

Wow its really a difficult process for couples, and it seems tgat the faster you want something to get reviewed or finished the longer it will take, and thats exactly why i do not want to go untill i have interview date... i dont know how el consulado is in D.R but i am really hopeing for a may interview

Ok im kind of confused now because i called the NVC today and they told me that they have reviewed it and that it need corrections again (sigh... :'( ) but the rep seemed a bit lost when he siad that. I didnt feel like that was concrete so i wait about 1-2 hours and called again. But this time a lady told me with complete confidence that my checklist was still being reviewed.... so i dont know what to think now.... does anyone know if this is normal or am i screwed with another flippin checklist

P.S the supposed checklist has not arrived yet...
