When you get your case# at NVC its time to get police report. He can go to any police station. If he is not on Algabon than any police station. Prices very but shouldn't be more than N5000.

He will need one for NVC. it expires in 3 months time. So most have to get a new one by the time interview rolls around.

passport is all he needs to order one. If outside of Algabon (in Lagos) allow about a week or so to get back.

And yes he has to get a Police report from every COUNTRY he has every lived in since age 16 for at least 6 months. Not every City but country.

Do not get one until you get case#.

DO NOT get a police report until you get case#. Right now people arriving at NVC the week of Feb 16th are getting case#. They were approved in January these people some in early February. It's taking about 8 weeks from leaving service centers (that's if you get to NVC fast) and getting case # almost 6 to 8 weeks. and the police report for Nigeria is only good for 3 months (Yes you will need a new one for interview).

So just wait a few more weeks and then tell hubby to go get.

Na wa o, abi. Heck no. That is twice almost 3 times the price. If you go to Algabon you can get same day for about 3K to maybe 8K. Don;t do it. You need no assistance just go.

If not in Lagos area to go to Algabon it may cost a few naira more maybe 10k and may take as mush as a week to get.
