  1. 1. Buddhism, Religion of Peace?

    • No, because there can only be ONE religion of peace.
    • Yes, but Buddhists in Myanmar are different. Myanmar is to Buddhism like Saudi Arabia is to Islam.

Thankfully many of the attacks on US soil have been foiled. But, unfortunately not all. So many hundreds of Americans and Westerners have been needlessly murdered by bus bombs, hijackings, hotel bombings, street murders, knife murders all in the name of Islam. Organized groups with memberships in the thousands. They are the essence of true evil.

Funny thing is when the Israelis terrorize Palestinians, the U.S. govt gives them financial and military support. I guess it depends what religion the group doing the terrorizing is, and what group is on the receiving end.

Most of the non-Muslim groups he lumped in there are Indian. Some Sikh, some Hindu.

I guess they must all look alike!

Well, the pretend thing was pretty funny.

I would say welcome to VJ, but something tells me you've been here before.

The US is giving aid to both sides. Unfortunately it's hard to find the mark of the good guy on the forehead. War was a lot more effective when the winner just killed every living thing. Wars and rumors of wars.

Or, in this case, sound alike.

What really interests me is how aum shinrikyo got included in a Muslim terror list. There was a lot of coverage of their attacks on the Tokyo subway in the US media.

I think it should be said aloud that terrorist and Muslim aren't synonymous to each other. You can be one without being the other.
