THE VISA IS MAILED!!!!

I am so scared, overjoyed, excited and anxious!!! We just mailed in our visa!!!! It weighed 3lbs, 5 oz and was over 2 inches thick. Eeek.

I sent it USPS certified mail and it should be to the Lockbox in Dallas by noon tomorrow. I hope they process it before the weekend. Does anyone know how long it takes them to process it, once it arrives at the Lockbox?

Now the waiting begins.

OH. MY. GOODNESS. Now I am panicking!! I sent it to the Lockbox in Dallas! but it is supposed to go to the one in Lewisville! I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID THIS. HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO ANYONE????

Sorry I was a little confused by your wording.

What do you mean by "you sent your visa"? Your I-129F application for K-1 fiance visa?

If you sent it USPS then you send it to Dallas, according to http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f-addresses

You just sent in your package take about one to two week to get the noa 1

And about three to six month for uscis to , look at your packet still got a long wait to go hop

You guy get approved fast

Oh goodness. My bad. We sent in our I-129F. We managed to change the address, Jeepers, sorry. I used the wrong lingo! hehee

Okay, so we sent in our I-129F. And it was signed for today; I can see that on the USPS website. However I suspect they may not process it till next week, right? Or a month from now? How long does it take to get an NOA1? Sorry again about using the wrong word.

How do we know what National Visa Center ours will be sent to? I am living in Chicago, does that mean it will be California? I've searched VJ and can't seem to find this information.

So it may only take a week for the NOA1? I was worried it would be 2-3 weeks. Oh well, we knew this would be a long wait. Or rather, the longest wait ever.
