Hi,

I recently had my biometrics done, and was just curious as to whether or not I will receive anything in the mail saying my prints have passed/failed etc. I remember the officer saying something about 10-14 days but can't remember exactly. It's already past that amount of days, so I wasn't sure if I would receive something if I had to get them re-done.

Thanks

You don't receive anything like that, some folks call the FBI to check on status but that seems like overkill to me. It depends entirely on your case as to how long it will take to progress the status of any of your applications.

I don't think the FBI will give you the results any more. I recall reading recently they told a person from VJ when they rang to ask that they would not.

Any rate, the only thing I am sure of, is that you will get a letter from USCIS if your prints don't pass muster. The letter you get then is for a second biometric. I passed the second, and heard nothing further until I got the approval for ROC.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
