Um? I don't know any slaves in America that benefited from slavery. They didn't get a mule, no acres of land, no decent job, and had to work for a dollar a day for the people who enslaved them. Then there were Jim Crow laws, separate bathrooms for blacks, walking down alleys, etc.

For someone to get land, or mule someone must provide it. Why should the everage tax payer who was also harmed by slavery also give up their land or mule or be taxed to pay for it?

I think you watch too much television. The only way to advance is to take the exam and make rank. We do it just like everyone else. There is no advancement of black people in the military that you don't 100% earn. My mentors were folks I sought out, not the other way around.

Danno, name a non-African nation or ANY nation for that matter that fights for anybody other than their own precious political gain? Please, anybody?

Nations choose when to intervene and when not to based on their political views. We did not intervene in Rwanda. No political gain.

So, why are we so hot on Sri Lanka right now? Because our government does not like the Russian and Chinese political influence in Sri Lanka and the current President hates America. This will be a good strategic spot for the U.S. so they want to overthrow the current President if they can.

It's very dubious when people point to the failures of African nations as if it's somehow a failure of black people in general. Let's ignore the fact that various imperial powers have used Africa as a colonial battleground - that stuff doesn't matter. Apparently the only thing that's important is simply to note that black people live in those countries and that it's somehow proof that black people couldn't run a piss up in a brewery.

In the same way that a proper male roll model in a father is benifiall, the wrong roll model is devasting.

This is why no father might be less harmful than a terrible father.
