At first I wasn't even going to read this - paragraphs are good. But I fought my way through, and here's all I got from it

Here's the thing:

You can have a perfectly safe conversation about race. And it can get deep and heated without boiling over. This is where the problem lies. Folks that claim they want to talk about it, really don't want to talk about it. They want to ask one black person why some folks say the N-word. Like they know what every single person is thinking. They also seek the most ignorant person they can find to reinforce whatever stereotype they're already thinking. And lastly, understand that you can't touch on things like BET or NAACP without taking a good long look at history and what preceded you.

With racism, if you want to have that debate, treat it with respect. And be prepared to have answers you might not like come back at you.

When does it stop Darnell? The author pointed out how immigrants, legal and otherwise are destroying America. He points to Mexicans first. How long until they aim their sights at other people? He also singled out all black and Hispanic people. Nothing wrong with that at all. Guess his ideal country is one where there is only one language and one people. And it's sickening that this website, which is built on diversity, has people on it that are bigoted to this extent.

Alas, it will never stop, as the Balkanization of 'Murica is rapidly progressing.

What I found interesting was the fact that this article is based on a speech that was given in 2005. It reflects our current political and social climate of today perfectly. Sometimes it appears the current administration uses this 8 step process when using executive powers to advance their agenda.

I was surprised years ago as a member of this family based immigration website to find that many members here are so adamantly opposed to more open immigration. Many of them are xenophobic and as you know some that harbor racial bigotry.

There was a guy a couple of years ago in Arizona who was part of the Minutemen with ties to neo-nazi groups. He lived with a woman who was half Hispanic. He ended up going on a shooting rampage, killing most everyone in his house. It was later revealed that he'd taunt his girlfriend with racial epitaphs, calling her a half breed. One can only imagine the potential psychosis among those who are opposed to the very thing they are part of.

It's why I can't understand how they can be married to someone from a different country and have so much hatred for someone different from them. But, like I said before it's only for certain races. So, it's okay to hate certain POC's, as long as their spouse's ethnicity isn't called into question.

The truth of the matter is they dislike the person they are married to, but hate blacks, gays etc even more.

These are the people you hear about when the wives are filing for VAWA, he shot up his house, the men used them as a slave and sex slave after they arrived in the U.S. etc.

These are the same people who adopt internationally and then get rid of the children on Craig's list.
