My i130 for my wife just got approved and is in its way to NVC. Reading on some of the posts here, i found out it can be a problem filing taxes as single in the interview. I guess it would be fine in the NVC????? I filed as single on Feb for the obvious reason that my foreign wife does not have a social security no. I want to amend it as MFS just to be in the safe side. My question is

Can i still use my tax return for 2013 in the NVC for affidavit of support even if it is in the process of getting amended?

Does anyone have any similar experience that might help me guide in this process

Cant wait till this is over!!
