Updating my timeline, I got a RFE dated november 14, 2014, can't remember the date I received it, I was so upset at the time I forgot to update my timeline.

This is the paperwork we are preparing to send:

-Copy of my wife's military ID and a copy of my military ID and priviledge card as a beneficiary under her

-Our current lease with both names on it

-Bank statements dating from as early as 2012 (we married end of 2011), I'm planning on sending one from 2012, one from 2013, one from 2014, and the most current one of Jan 2015. (any thoughts on this?)

-Her military life insurance listinging me as the beneficient

-the dental family plan ID cards of me, my wife, and my stepdaughter.

Would this be enough? I normally see longer lists here, but this is really all we can think of. I'm worried.

So, we got back from Spain, both families were there, took lots of pictures, kept all of the ticket stubs and submitted what I think has to be the longest list of proof in human history - 29 items ranging from official IRS tax transcripts to life insurance, all 24 months of our joint bank account (i had sent august 2012 and april 2014 and they said it only shows two months, how moronic) new lease, health insurance and retirement beneficiary information. I cannot fathom that we missed anything else in submitting for our RFE.

It was received and signed for on the 13th, so now we just wait? Anything we can do to get an update, or is the waiting game the only cure? Any similar situations out there? If so, how long did you wait until the next step?? What are the next steps...interview? What more could they possibly want????

Wanted to ensure everything was there. Our deadline was February 7th, so we submitted with plenty of time to spare.

Hoping to hear from other April filers who received an RFE. I submitted my (admittedly light, in hindsight) application to remove conditions in April 2014. Heard nothing until November 2014, when I received word from USCIS that we (wife and I) were required to supplement our application with additional information to establish the bona fides of our marriage. The notice said we had until January 31st to reply. We quickly gathered additional documents (tax transcripts, monthly joint bank statements from date of marriage forward, health insurance/401k/IRA beneficiary forms, affidavits, etc.) and sent the package to the Vermont Service Center. Our package arrived and was signed for on December 1st. We are approaching 60 days now. I haven't heard anything, nothing has been updated on the USCIS website, and I don't think there is much point calling because I think it likely that I'll just be told that 60 days have not yet passed.

So I'm curious - are other April filers who received RFEs in the same position? Any idea how long this usually takes? At what point should I become concerned and/or take proactive steps?

hello, i'm the first one who recieved rfe in april flier list.(rfe recieved on 10/30/14)

i replied mine one dec 11th, which i expected they recieved it on dec 15th.

and i'm still waiting.. hopefully i don't get an interview..lol..

i wish i know how long they takes to process it..

so nervous on waiting..

Can some one please advice me

I am an april filer and my NOA is April 15th

I am yet to get an answer from USCIS

I filed through a lawyer

Have called USCIS and i was told removal could take between 8months -12months

Is anyone experiencing this or is it because i'm filing with a waiver

Hi Kenny I am with you. NOA is on April 4 2014 and no response yet . I called USCIS and they told me the same answer as yours that I might take 8 -12 months. Wait and hope for the best.
