Decided to check on the USCIS.Gov Site, not expecting anything to be changed:

On December 5, 2014, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by January 4, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request your card. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

From Receipt of application to today - 218 days.

Good Luck to anyone waiting, cannot be much longer now

Hi all,

I hope someone would have answer to my question...

I am also a Apr filer to Vermont Center. NOA1 date is Apr 29, 2014. Bio is current. I just got approval letter today. Decision date is Dec 2, 2014. The letter says that I shall receive my green card within 60 days.

My question is - how long does it take usually to get the green card?

If I need to travel aboard for over 3 months before getting my card, is it okay for me to enter USA after 3 months?

Or, shall I ask my husband to mail me the new card when I am still outside of USA?

Or, shall I apply for a travel document to be safe?

Thanks for your help in advance!
