I meant to reply to your post but ended up voting it up. Can't undo it.

Don't worry too much. I got mine on plain paper too. Plus, my full name was not on it, just the last name. All the extension letter, biometrics appointment and approval notice came in my last name only. I didn't bother to question.

Green card came in my full name.

I'm not worried, just thought it was really strange. Also not her full name, first initial and last name only.

I just finish the early biometric today. When i got home, I am checking my case, and I got this message

"On June 27, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

It is so wierd, i even got approved before my biometric day??? Is it normal guys???

i think like the case status says. you should be receiving your 10yr card in a day or two.

Well possively your bio might have been uploaded a long time ago and you did not actually have to go? It could be an error too. Like my address was never changed but when I check my case online, it says I changed my address. I called them and they confirmed it was error. But I would definitely call USCIS though.

I did call them , and they said my case was aprroves on June 27... I was surprise how fast it is

Tracking my wife's green card in the mail. Current status is it reached the local post office yesterday afternoon, so we should have it in our mailbox today

Strange thing on the USCIS tracking page, after the card was approved, the indicator never went to approved, they're all the grey now. Just looks weird, but maybe it goes along with the plain paper approval letter
