I did call and talked with the tier 1, and they already put a service request. But I still haven't receive any letter or response from them yet...

Well when I called tier 1 first time, I was told if I do not get anything in 15 days, I should call them back.

I called them on June 5th and I got a letter from them on June 14th. I would call them if it has been more than 15 days. Good luck

Hello all,

I am new to this forum, but I have been reading all of the posts to get advice for my situation. I sent my package to VSC on 4/8/13 and received confirmation from USPS that the package was received on 4/10/13. As of yesterday, we still had not received my husband's NOA1. But thanks to all the great advice in this forum, I called USCIS a few times and submitted 2 service requests last week and FINALLY....we received a copy of the NOA1/Extension letter today with a receipt date of 4/11/14. I also got a response to one of my service requests on 6/12/13 that my husband's biometrics are current and that he is not required to appear at the ASC at this time. We were really starting to get worried, but now we are on the road to approval (hopefully no RFE ?). So, please add us to the list. I hope I gave all the required info. If not, please let me know.

No they did not put it on the letter which they should have.

They don't want people calling, and do everything they can to keep you from calling back when you call, but they don't do something simple like put your case number on correspondence so you don't need to call. :lol:

So I called them. Firstly talked to tier 1. The tier 1 lady could not pull my information with the receipt # on NOA1 and she transferred to tier 2. According to the tier 2 lady, my bio is current. Lainie B is probably right. I guess they uploaded my old bio on May 9th. I asked my case # and she told me my case # so I can truck my case status online now. I asked her so now I just need to wait unless USCIS requires me something more and she said that is correct. I guess my waiting time already started a month ago but I feel like it finally started today since she confirmed.

I was checking March filers and it seems like if it goes smoothly, it takes about two month to receive GC after bio. So hopefully I will get it in one month

UPDATE: 17 Jun 2014

Rang USCIS and selected the option to be called back, as the wait time for Tier 2 was 71 minutes.

Received my callback on time, and was advised that my Biometrics were up to date and so I wouldn't be called. Was provided with my new Tracking number. So now its wait and see what happens next,
