hi guys, should I keep calling them and ask about the case number or I need to wait? Until now, I still haven't got anything (except the NOA1). So depressing:((

Yes, this is very unfortunate, at this stage, you are irrelevant in the process, you are no longer the petitioner, he is. Same story with me. He is able to grant you access, and then you can talk to them.

To n_kevin,

If you have a time, I would say to call USCIS, talk to tier 1 person and place a service request. That is what I did on last Thursday and I have been waiting for a regular mail from them.

Hopefully I do not have to take bio and you too.

Hi, I'm new and clueless about how to start a topic or how to follow one. Hope you guys be patient with me.

I sent my ROC package yestesday and it supposed to arrive tomorrow. I'm VERY nervous and can't wait to get any kind of info in the mail.

My green card expires on 07/12/14 so hopefully before that i get the one extention letter.

I did everything myself. I didn't want to pay 500-700 dollars for someone else to fill my application because a)it's not that complicated b) trying to save money because baby #2 is on his way!

08/29/2018: Made an info pass appointment requesting for expediting Travel document as parents had to travel India. Expedite request was rejected

Called USCIS and spoke to TIER2.

CSR told that EACxxx receipt number will be my identification number until the GC is generated. She also told that people who file i751 and don't require biometrics cannot track status online as until Unless biometrics letter is generated from the system there cannot be a receipt number.

Well she was very polite and answered all my questions.

Now I wonder who amongst the VJ users with biometrics status as CURRENT received a positive response from tier2 as in received their actual case# ?

Thank you for your inquiry regarding above listed petition. USCIS records indicate that you have appeared for an ASC appointment on May 9, 2014. We also received biometrics on May 9, 2014. No action required at this time.

I have never gotten my bio letter from them or I have never had biometrics. I mean what in the world?

I was expecting a letter which shows my bio is current but nooooooooooooooooo!!!!

I am getting so tired of doing this... :angry:

Possibly it means they uploaded your old biometrics on May 9. USCIS are notorious for their cryptic messages.

what do they mean "you have appeared" LOL you should call them again and this time give them your email address too.

So I called them. Firstly talked to tier 1. The tier 1 lady could not pull my information with the receipt # on NOA1 and she transferred to tier 2. According to the tier 2 lady, my bio is current. Lainie B is probably right. I guess they uploaded my old bio on May 9th. I asked my case # and she told me my case # so I can truck my case status online now. I asked her so now I just need to wait unless USCIS requires me something more and she said that is correct. I guess my waiting time already started a month ago but I feel like it finally started today since she confirmed.

I was checking March filers and it seems like if it goes smoothly, it takes about two month to receive GC after bio. So hopefully I will get it in one month :clock:

6/5/2012 (Day 92) - Online case status says: Card/ Document Production.
6/11/2012 (Day 98) - Online case status says: Card mailed
6/12/2012 (Day 99) - Online case status says: Card picked up by USPS on June 11th.
6/13/2012 (Day 100) - EAD/AP in hand.
6/20/2012 (Day 107) - Online case status says: Testing and Interview and USCIS mailed an appointment notice for our interview
6/21/2012 (Day 108) - Our appointment notice in hand.
7/26/2012 (Day 142) - Interview...Approved and Online case status says: Decision.
7/30/2012 (Day 146) - Received I-485 Approval hard copy.
