Wow that was faster than I expected and congrats!

I have not heard anything yet. I assume mine would be a regular mail since the tier 1 person did not ask my email address when I called her.

Thanks ? lets hope you receive it in this week. Now the tricky part is us and some of the april filers getting our case# from Tier2

05/16/2018: Received Date/ Priority Date - NOA Received

05/25/2018: Received NOA Bio-metrics for I485 Appt: 06/10/2018

06/10/2018: Bio-metrics are completed

06/12/2018: Received RFE requesting for a Birth Certificate for both parents

07/28/2018: Responded to RFE, sent their non availability of birth certificate copy

08/02/2018: Online status changed to " Request for Evidence was Received"

08/29/2018: Made an info pass appointment requesting for expediting Travel document as parents had to travel India. Expedite request was rejected 

09/14/2018: I131 Parole document was Approved

Jay21, are you using the case number on your bio letter or the one on your NOA?

I tried both. When I called I also gave them both numbers: on the biometrics and on the NOA1

 

12-2011 We got Married!

2/3/2012 AOS Package sent (I-130, I-485, I-765)

hi guys, I just call the uscis, this time I was lucky to talk with the tier 2. The first thing I can say was she is mean, and rude. Moreover, I asked for the biometric letter, and she said " We haven't sent it out yet, you have to wait 8 weeks", and then I asked for case number, and she said " You don't have case number until you the biometric letter". I m kinda freaking out because my recepit date is 04/29/2014, and now I still haven't got the biometric letter. I dont know how long I will wait for it.

You dont have your biometrics date yet!

So I suggest you first call uscis speak to tier1 tell them its been 30days since your NOA1 receipt date and ask them to create a service request and give them your email address.

Keep your NOA1 letter in hand when speaking to them.

how long is the process to get approve? :reading:

From the CSC it appears mainly February filers are getting their approvals now, and even a couple March filers have. Theres even a couple November and Decembers in the recent approvals to. In a month or two, we should start seeing some approvals from April.

Vermont appears to mainly be on December and some Novembers. So it appears California is a good two months ahead of Vermont.

CSR told that EACxxx receipt number will be my identification number until the GC is generated. She also told that people who file i751 and don't require biometrics cannot track status online as until Unless biometrics letter is generated from the system there cannot be a receipt number.

Well she was very polite and answered all my questions.

Now I wonder who amongst the VJ users with biometrics status as CURRENT received a positive response from tier2 as in received their actual case# ?

Hi Nevin, Tier2 told me that my biometrics was current. According to him, since finger prints don't change, on May 13th, 2014 they decided to upload the image from my previous biometrics and then used it to run the background checks. He also gave me my actual case number which is trackable online. The number is not the same as the one on my NOA1.

I think that when the old biometrics are uploaded and look okay to proceed the new EAC number is created.

We see that some people on this forum got an answer saying that their old biometrics got uploaded. And some of us got an answer that they might use the old biometrics (meaning it was not uploaded/processed to the file yet).

So once biometrics are uploaded they can give you a new EAC number.

I think it is just a matter of time. I am sure that when my husband calls the second time in a month, they will give him a new EAC number.

I think that when the old biometrics are uploaded and look okay to proceed the new EAC number is created.

We see that some people on this forum got an answer saying that their old biometrics got uploaded. And some of us got an answer that they might use the old biometrics (meaning it was not uploaded/processed to the file yet).

So once biometrics are uploaded they can give you a new EAC number.

I think it is just a matter of time. I am sure that when my husband calls the second time in a month, they will give him a new EAC number.

That actually makes sense as to what they're doing. Doesn't make sense in terms of reducing calls to them though. This will actually increase the case load of calls related to removing conditions.

hi guys, should I keep calling them and ask about the case number or I need to wait? Until now, I still haven't got anything (except the NOA1). So depressing:((
