Received the reply to service request today:

"Based on your request, we have enclosed a copy of your Application Support Center (ASC) Appointment Notice. Please follow the instructions listed on this notice."

But NOTHING was attached. :ranting:

My guess is there is no appointment notice, and the person replying to the inquiry did not do his/her job.

I guess, now we have no choice, but to call them. :angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

Oh that one is you, I've bought a much nice barrel for my wife. It has an umbrella attachment to keep the sun off of her. She hates getting darker from the sun, and its a long trip across the Pacific.

Nah its not me. That lady looks no where near me. Seems most of the Asian girls hate sun tan becoz they like to be white. Opposite from white people :rofl:

I received a response from USCIS today. A pleasant surprise.

"A review of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicates that your biometric information is current, and it is not necessary for you to appear at an Application Support Center (ASC) for a biometrics appointment at this time. The biometrics fee will not be refunded. USCIS will contact you if updated biometric information or any other additional information is needed to process your petition."

I did not attempt an early walk-in (I never received the bio notice). My adjustment of status biometrics was completed in May 2012. One can only assume that USCIS has changed its policy on biometrics for ROC.

I still don't have my case #, though. I can either sit tight and wait for my card to arrive or call USCIS and wait a few hours to speak to a Tier II CSR.

Thank you so much for your information. I am going to call USCIS and place a service request like you did.

Could you please tell me whom you told you would like to place a service request? Tier 1 person or Tier 2 person?

Its funny how white people get sun burn. Some reason I don't like using sun block. I feel like its sticky & I need to shower immediately.

I have not received my bio letter yet, since receipt date 4/11/14. Is it normal? I am so worried and I'd like to travel outside of the country. Do I need a sticker on my expired GC?

You need to carry your NOA1 along with your expired GC.

Oh, I would recommend Japanese products :luv:

Unfortunately you can get a lot of good Japanese stuff only in Japan though :(

I have heard kiehl's, Jurlique, and juice BEAUTY are also good :) Have you used any of them?

Just because its a pet peeve of mine, the freedom of speech given by the first amendment of the USA constitution has nothing to do with protecting what you wrote in a forum here. The freedom of speech you refer to has to do with the government limiting you. The forum itself, or even simple etiquette can limit your speech without infringing upon the first amendment. But its true when in an open forum, expect anyone to make any type of comment on anything :lol:

You need to carry your NOA1 along with your expired GC.

The NOA1 for the ROC, is also known as the extension letter. A person could also make an infopass appointment and get a stamp in their passport, but most just carry the extension letter.
