This seems to be the case with all the people who got their status adjusted after coming to USA.

Correction, this has been the case with some in this thread reporting they do not need the bio. My wife adjusted status in the USA and she did receive the bio appointment letter and we have already accomplished the bio for her ROC. If such is the case, this is a new development, as a biometrics is only valid for 15 months. And if you're applying to remove conditions, you've have a green card for at least 21 months before you can apply to remove conditions.

Thanks for your comment. I actually checked May threads a couple of times and I found out some of May filers got their bio letter even though their NOA1 issues after us. I wonder my AOS experience matters or not. Your wife got her bio letter even though she went through AOS, right?

Yes she did. She came on a K-1 and we adjusted her status. Her AOS biometrics was on January 5th, 2012. We got the bio letter for her ROC and already finished the biometrics in april. I believe we were the first in this thread to get the biometrics completed, as we went early.

DMV would renew my driver's license with NOA1 but it is gonna be just for one year valid, isn't it? I am just getting little sick of renewing my license so often... :(

I know right! Its so annoying to renew your Drivers license so often. I renewed my DL 3 times already. Now I have to renew it again. UUFFF..

Call them again. Ask your new Case no from Tier 2 department. Keep in mind they don't like to transfer your call to them. So, you gotta be rough & tough with them on this. :)
