What happened to everyone here? Why is there no updates? Everyone is so quite. No Bio letter update Anyone?

Got our bio letter!!!!!!!!!! Notice Date 5/12, Appointment is set for June 5th at 11am, Just about a month after submission, amazing! For all of you worrying that Vermont is slow, they are quite fast so far :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

So what now? Any preparation? Or just show up? What are they testing for?

So we show up and leave and then what is the next step? They see if we should come in for an interview and if not we'll get the 10 year card? Am I missing anything? :blink:

Thank you! We are so close to the testing center we may go for an early bio. When you say RFE...bio RFE? Or proof RFE? I thought the Bio letter comes after they have already sorted through all of the info we sent. I fear that we may not be here much longer and I am not sure how the whole change of address works during the process.

Still very happy!!! Just don't want our new greencard sitting in an old mailbox :-)

I meant proof RFE. Like you said they should have sorted through infos before Bio appointment but its silly of USCIS to send RFE after Bio. Some people got Bio RFE too because the machine couldn't read their fingerprints.smiley-vault-signs-123.gif What I can say? They are USCIS smiley-fighting0089.gif

So we show up and leave and then what is the next step? They see if we should come in for an interview and if not we'll get the 10 year card? Am I missing anything? :blink:

I've heard when Vermont is far behind, historically they start throwing out RFE's as it resets the clock and keeps their processing time look better. Just respond with more of the same stuff you first sent, and then the approval follows. But make darn sure its not a legit one where you did miss something.

Interviews are not that common for the ROC.

So its mainly a waiting game for RFE, or approval, and the occasional interview for some. Looking at the VJ stats, maybe 1 in 20 get an interview.

Hello everyone, supposedly my lawyer sent my package on May the 5th and I have had no news since then, I filled an electronic form for updates and I have had no e mail or text either, I am really worried and frustrated. I filled at Vermont.

Hello everyone, supposedly my lawyer sent my package on May the 5th and I have had no news since then, I filled an electronic form for updates and I have had no e mail or text either, I am really worried and frustrated. I filled at Vermont.

The electronic notification form only works at lockboxes, not at CSC or VSC. So you won't get any emails or texts. The only way you'll know if it was delivered and accepted is by tracking your package through USPS or whoever delivered your package, your check will be cashed, and you will receive your NOA1 in the mail.

You won't be able to check the status of your case until you receive the biometrics letter.

Ending the silence!!!

Got our bio letter!!!!!!!!!! Notice Date 5/12, Appointment is set for June 5th at 11am, Just about a month after submission, amazing! For all of you worrying that Vermont is slow, they are quite fast so far :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

So what now? Any preparation? Or just show up? What are they testing for?

At biometrics they will take your fingerprints and your photo. You will fill out a form that has some personal details.
