I feel ur urgency. I have no idea why they become slow. All I know they got slower after Easter. I think they are extending their holiday & not working on our applications. They don't even want to cash our checks!!! (They don't like money!!!)

Lol.... I am thinking the same thing re: our checks saying they don't even want it. I expected my check to be cashed like a day or 2 after package arrived, but they don't want to take our money. Driving me nuts.

My packet was sent last 2 weeks ago but no response yet, I tried to look in my bank acct and the check

was en cash is this a good one that my application was accepted? I hope that I will be getting my NOA1

this week with no hassles.

I bumped onto this thread about early biometric walk-ins, and this particular post gives you a pretty good picture of different members from different states and their experiences with early bio walk ins. I hope this is as insightful to others as it was to me.

I know right, I was reading through it then I was like, boy oh boy had I seen it earlier I'd definitely would have attempted to walk in sooner. Oh well, for consolation sakes, I just got a week left to go for bio.

If your check has been cashed than its a very good news. It means they accepted( not approve) your application and now you have to wait for NOA1 to arrive.

It's been a while since I posted. In any case, my wife and I applied for ROC on April 12th, 2014, so please add me to the list.

I have one question: My wife's GC will expire on May 8th, 2014 and so far no response from Vermont. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding what action to take if her GC expires and we have still received no response from from USCIS?

Wow you cut it close! I'd avoid any border check points. Technically she can't work, and is no longer here legally without the letter after the card expires. Did you get a delivery confirmation or see the check cashed yet? Which service center did you send it to, and how? California has been pretty quick to get the NOA1 out, but Vermont has been pretty slow.

I filed for my wife's I-751 on April 11th at Vermont (VT), (which is more than 2 weeks ago) and still haven't received acknowledgement letter (NOA1). The check hasn't been cashed too as yet.

Can anyone add me to the list to as applied on April 11 (mailed on April 9th and was delivered on April 11th to VT) and no extension/acknowledgement received.
