yes, they are very accommodating here in Alexandria, VA. when I went, there were around 33 people ahead of me. but it took around 50 mints to reach my turn.

Hi All,

We are getting worried here. We sent I-751 for my wife on 4/10. It was received at Vermont on 4/11. Still did not get NOA1 and the check was not cashed.

I double checked everything and I'm pretty sure there are no errors in our filing.

Any ideas why is it taking so long?

Thanks for your reply.I am planning to go to the same place for my early biometrics. It's only 40 minutes far from my home. Did you call in before you go there? What are the documents you took with you? Do you suggest going Alexandria,VA or Washington DC for biometrics?

I am not sure if there is one in DC. the Washington field office is located in Fairfax, VA but this is the field office where they process N400 and AOS. but all the bio appointment are served in Alexandria support center. You don't need to call or do anything. they just check your name on the Bio appointment and look at your ID, I took my GC and the Bio appointment, I would really recommend going to Alexandria service center on Richmond Hwy, even the employees are very nice, the lady who took my fingerprint asked me to check the picture that she took and she asked me if liked the picture or if I wanted to take another one. I don't think you goanna have any problem in there

I think a lot of April filers are facing the same problem, so try to keep monitoring the thread . I think the i751 is the worst stage :S

Yes they need too. Need my noa1 for work. That's all I really want. Do u know why they are going so slow.

I feel ur urgency. I have no idea why they become slow. All I know they got slower after Easter. I think they are extending their holiday & not working on our applications. :( They don't even want to cash our checks!!! (They don't like money!!!)
