Hey guys!

I just sent off paperwork I mailed it at the Consulate in Cape Town via DHL and it will be sent on to the Embassy in JHB.

I have two questions:

How long did you wait till you contacted the Embassy to get a case number? Should I wait a week or so?

What can/should I be doing in the mean time before the interview (I was thinking medical and police certificate) that is all that is needed unless someone can think of anything else!

I applied for my police clearance right after the petition was approved, and I would advise you to go for your medicals couple of days before the interview. I got response from the embassy after 2 days I submitted the paper work. Good luck
