Yes I agree! Crossing the boarder I didnt tell them everything and got blasted for 4hrs. Eventually, they slapped me on the wrist and told me to be patient and they let me go across as long as I came back. Its been 5 months and I crossed once and the POE officer told me just to be patient and I showed him all my documents as long as I was coming back to Canada. We filed a whole report and everything. Will this affect my application? Everything has been received just waiting on an interview date.

I did do the research, but I only found compliance letter is the important thing.

Btw, I wanna ask you something marriage in LA.

What are the steps? How long does it take to get marriage certificate to submit to immigration for changing the status? Which place can we go ? Any appointment require for marriage?

Doing it the usual way can take several weeks to get the marriage certificate (which you need for AOS).We wanted the marriage certificate immediately, so we could begin the AOS process, so we got married in Santa Barbara County and did our paperwork through the Lompoc office (which can get it done fast because it services Vandenberg AFB and sometimes military folks are deploying suddenly. I had my K1 visa in Vancouver in hand on a Friday morning, I flew to LA that day. We were at the Lompoc office on Monday at 9am to get the licence, married by 10:30, paperwork back to the office by noon, and marriage certificate in hand by 4pm. Applied for AOS the next day. I've seen other threads on here where people got their certs fast from San Diego, and of course Vegas is quite fast, too.
