Okay I'm having a bit of confusion over my vaccinations. I'm currently in the US and have started applying for AOS but here's the thing, when I was having my medical exam in London the doctor there said that I could get any remaining vaccinations I was missing done with my regular GP without any issues, which I did. But If I'm understanding this correctly now it seems I have to have a civil surgeon confirm I have indeed had these shots and fill out the vaccination portion of the I-693 form. Is this the case or will the medical records I brought from my GP suffice?

You will need to have your vaccinations you received at your GP transcribed onto an I-693. You need to see a civil surgeon to have this done.

Call around to local civil surgeons (found on the uscis website). Prices vary greatly. Find the one who will transcribe your records without redoing the whole medical and won't charge you something crazy.

If someone gets all their vaccinations done at the time of the K-1 medical and marked off on a properly filled out DS-3025, then they can skip the civil surgeon and getting an I-693. What other vaccinations did you get afterwards? Were they just follow-up shots? You only need the 1st in a series for AOS. See this post > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/428381-i-693-report-of-medical-examination-and-vaccination-report/?p=6206232

If they were not just follow-up shots, then you will need to see a civil surgeon, take your copy of the DS-3025 and your shot records from your GP and have them all transcribed onto an I-693.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to AOS from Family Based Visas - topic is AOS, not K-1 ~
