CRIME Rates are in decline because we are locking up more people and with truth-N-sentancing laws these same people are doing more time.

It's certainly not because people are less criminally prone..... it is that they are now segregated from their victims better.

I live in Louisville so I can verify the story is true. It was alleged to have begun by a group of teens who gathered to mourn a 14 year old victim of a fatal stabbing on a public bus (TARC) by an older white man. What set them off or why they did this is unknown. I doubt it was racially motivated but rather a mob type of violence.

I think the issue is People ( it takes two) that make babies they can not afford to have and do not invest time in raising, That is a large part of what is wrong in today's society.

I have no problem what so ever with single mom's who invest and their children and who can afford to have and raise them in a non-taxpayer assisted way.

I realize people have kids and things change, and they fall on hard times. I am spekaing of people that continue to have babies they can't afford generation after generation.

P.S. I have seen many throw away rich white kids, whose aprent's have babies and then continue to vacation and ignore them. They usually have issues.
