Yes, you can go with your fiance at USEM. Both the visa applicant & petitioner can go to each window when the number is called. However, the petitioner might be asked to take a seat during the interview itself, depending on the CO's discretion. But as they say, nothing beats the experience of having your fiance beside you during this priceless moment. :)

However, they don't release visas on the spot. Timelines of approval / visa issuance vary for each case, and can take days or weeks or months. No one can really tell.

But it doesn't hurt asking....you'll never know. they may have some compassion left :dancing:

Compassion? Nope that does not describe any CO I saw at USEM. 2091.gif Just kidding.

BTW, they do a good job under very extreme circumstances. I respect each one and their position.

My fiancé really wants me to be there at his appointment with him. I also would love to be there but I just don't want to have to wait a long time for his visa bcoz I have to get back to my work here

Yeah, well, try to remember the USCIS motto: 'we don't care, we don't have to.'

Actually more like 7-10 calendar days. But that is just the recommded minimum. No harm in making it longer.

From page 3 of the EMBASSY INSTRUCTIONS LETTER (hint hint, 8 pages of knowledge there ;) )

n. MEDICAL EXAMINATION. All K1 and K2 visa applicants must complete a medical examination at St.
Luke’s Extension Clinic at least a week before the interview appointment. Refer to the instructions (see
separate page) regarding the medical examination.
