HI Guys, I hope all are enjoying their weekend. I do have another question....

I have been checking the CEAC website and I see changes on the updated dates, from July 7 ( i hope the date was updated July 7 since according to NSO, the docs were picked up by the US Embassy on July 7), then changed to July 8 and to July 15. Up to this day, its still shows updated date of July 15.

But I am also asking or concerned as to why every time I check the CEAC website, dates changes BUT how come it always says READY? it never changed to "administrative processing" ?????

Is that normal???

The date will change every time someone opens your file on the computer for whatever reason, status will change went they have completed one phase and moved on to the next. All normal. Just need to be patient a little longer.

Each time the date changes someone, like Hank said, has touched your file for any number of reasons. The wait can be unbearable 2034.gif but the best thing to do is stop looking every day and start looking ever other day. We just finished our AOS and I didn't look for three weeks because I knew when they were ready they were going to send me a text message and my phone would say "you got mail" and there was the text for approval.

It just takes time and no one can say when. Make yourself busy and wait for the phone to "ring". 2049.gif

Good Morning Guys,

Here's a recap of my fiancé's K1 Application... don't know what it means????

case creation date was Feb 28, 2014

case updated dates changed from July 7, July 8 and then July 15 .... showing "READY" the entire time (ready for interview)

now it shows

case creation date to July 28, 2014??

and

case updated date same July 28, 2014 but now it shows still "READY"....

Your case is open. Please check your status after two business days via the CEAC launch page at https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC

but the dates keeps changing though... from July 7 then July 8 then July 15 and now July 28

It seems that is just a "generic" status. It could jump from ready > AP > ready > to whatever until it says issued. :innocent:

There has been a lot of chatter about the DOS computers having a serious "hiccup" but are finally back to running normal again, just a little slow. I am sure a lot of case files have been sitting because they haven't been able to complete the process.

Every time the date updates means someone has opened your file, so they could be doing their final checks ... which would mean soon you may see ISSUED.

Just be patient a little longer.
