Hi everyone,

My I-751 was received on March 19, the day my green card expires. I wanted to know if that is still considered as being late. I'm asking because after I sent it in, I noticed the instructions said it should be filed in the "90 days BEFORE the expiration date". So does that mean March 18 would have been the last day to file it? I called USCIS and as usual, every customer service rep gave me a different answer. Once simply just said that he didn't know. I was wondering if there has been anyone else who had a similar experience. I have been searching the Internet for the past few days and only found two forum posts from persons who were in a similar situation. My check has not been cashed yet, which is causing me to stress even further since when I went through this whole process two years ago, the check cleared by bank about 3 or 4 days after the package was received. So, now I'm left to wonder if my application has been rejected. If there is anyone else who has been in this position, I'd love to hear from you about how your case went.
