Hello all,

I hope someone can help me.

I am currently on a E-2 visa which is assigned to my employer. I am very unhappy with my job and would like to apply for a new job.

Unfortunately the moment I quit my visa is no longer valid.

Does anybody have experiences with changing from an E-2 visa to a different visa or even green card?

I am looking forward to your replies.

Thank you very much in advance!

To what visa do you want to change ? And how do you plan to obtain green card ?

Only status you can relatively easily change to is tourist. Other require either school enrollment or an employer to file for you. Same thing with the green card - you can't just file for it yourself.
