Hi all - I received our NVC letter today with the mnl #. I have sent my fiance the money to pay for the visa fees, 1 for her and 1 for her daughter.

My question is can we go ahead and schedule the interview right away after the payment is processed and entered into the system and then fill out the ds-160 form after? I'm just trying to understand the order. I would assume the receipt # is part of the ds-160 form right?

Will we need to fill out (2) ds-160 forms one for her and one for her daughter? I am assuming yes since the receipts need to be separate.

thanks

Yup you can go online and create the profile and try to schedule the interview, as of late everything has been booked but you may get lucky and trip over a cancellation, otherwise you will have to wait for the embassy to open up June dates... which hopefully will be very soon.

Info for paying the visa fee and scheduling is in the link below. Follow the flashing arrow below.

As for the DS-160 for your fiancee's daughter:

On the “Thank You” page you will see an option to create a family or group application. When you select this option, certain information from your application, such as destination, will automatically be imported to and displayed on a new application. Please note that if you use this option you must create an individual application for each family member or for each individual within the group.

Ok sounds good thanks Hank. I've been following the posts here and yeah I noticed that with no openings. I guess we will try tomorrow to schedule an appointment. I will start the ds-160 soon as she gets her receipt number. She is doing that today. Yes I've been following your guide, great resource thanks
