Hi all

I am confused, I arrived in the US on 1-30-14 and had a I-551 in my passport. After the DHS office visit at the airport I was told I would receive my GC in 3-6 months. Now on 3-24-14 I got an I-797C in the mail for a biometrics appointment on 3-26-14 (yes 2 days notice to get to Houston), I thought this part of the process was much later or is it now part of the GC process?

We have been married for 3 years now so does this mean citizenship or is it just part of the process?

Please help this confused soul

Thanks Derek
