so, in yer direct and personal experience, you were exposed to people who didn't know what they were doing at Rapid Visa. Thanks for sharing your experience with them.

I used them before I find this site. They where really helpful and answered every question I had and double checked everything for me. They also will tell you if you need to now evidence and what kinds is best. ..of course you can find that info. The part I was most pleased with us they have an office by U.S. embassy Manila and my fiancée was able to go there the day before her interview (no extra charge)...they situated all our papers in orderly fashion and walked her through what to expect at the interview and the embassy in general. This gave more confidence to my fiance then anything I could provide her. Of course on interview day they looked at exactly none of our papers not even the 134...nor did they even asked her any questions of any importance. I dont think rapidvisa was necessary but it gave my fiancee ease of mind....come interview day. I'd recommend them for people who have trouble following directions exactly or for a fiancée with little confidence.

I feel that i could hire a 16 year old from my old high school to handle 92 percent of the things you've described. But that's just me.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hiring Rapid Visa in Philippines is they are charging two month salary for an average person living there, but for an American it fairly cheap $375 for filing.

I think other places charge around $800 and lawyers want around $3000.

So I think they are the about the cheapest out there, if you don't want to do the process yourself.

But to me gathering the evidence and all the supporting documents is where all the work is, filing out paper work is fairly easy for the average person......

There has been many posts and discussions on this question. My suggestion is to do what the both of you think is best

The visa process can be long sometime stressful. If you feel you need or want to use one then you should use a lawyer

However if you have a simple case it is not hard to do it yourself

As do I. It wasn't for me or my comfort, it was for hers. It was nice to have someone there to help walk her through since I couldn't be there.

You can do it urself but i personally hate the hazzles of reading and checking if am correct or not hence using rapid visa. You are relax knowing that someone who knows the route is doing it for you. If you can keep reading threads and do not have work that is time demanding you can do it yourself while reading threads and other webistes. However, waiting is the same and they will not fasten anything you still have to wait. My younger brother did it himself and he got it in 5mths. The waiting is crazy though but all the same its worth it. Can't wait to be with my man again. Miss him like hell. Wish us all success on this journey

Use RapidVisa if you want RFEs and delays. Use a good lawyer if you want the packet to go thru right the first time.
